Description
On 27 February 2023, 2 stringers for 2 TV stations respond to the news of a fatal accident involving an excavator at a construction site in Phetchaburi province, which left one person dead. Upon arriving at the scene, the pair and their vehicle were reportedly surrounded by around 15 men and women who demanded that they leave the site. The 2 stringers also said a group of several men showed a particularly violent and aggressive behavior, having put the reporters in a chokehold and slapped down their phones. The unidentified individuals were thought to belong to the construction site owners who did not want the accident to become public. The 2 reporters have since filed charges at a local police station.
