Description

VOD, EAC, and GN time were not allowed to attend a press conference on the arrest of NagaWorld staff on the morning of 4 January 2022, held by the Phnom Penh Municipal authority. The director of media at the Cambodian Center for Independent Media, Ith Sothoeuth, said banning journalists from covering press conferences under the pretext of not registering was a restriction on press freedom.
