Radioman arrested while attending a hearing of another cyber libel case
Description
Radio anchorman Edito Mapayo was arrested while attending his hearing on a cyber libel case against members of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit. After his hearing, Mapayo went out of the court room and was apprehended by members of Intel PNP PPO. He was shown a warrant of arrest, approved by Hon. Judge Leonila Gorgolon of RTC Branch 30, for not attending his hearing last March. Mapayo was immediately brought by members of the operation and imprisoned inside the Surigao City Jail PNP.
