Two journalists in Kendari were summoned as witnesses in the alleged code of ethics case of Police Aipda Amiruddin in section the profession and security of the Kendari Police. The summons for both of them to become witnesses was received on Friday, February 21, 2025.
Tribunnews Sultra journalist, Samsul and Simpul Indonesia journalist, Nur Fahriansyah were summoned as witnesses after receiving a summons for examination by the head of the Kendari profession and security Kendari Police, AKP Supratman.
The two journalists initially refused to provide information, but investigators intimidated them, so that both of them finally underwent 5 hours of examination.
Previously, the two journalists had written news related to the alleged sexual harassment by Aipda Amiruddin against someone else's wife. The two journalists had interviewed the victim and her husband on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
One day later, the two journalists made an attempt to confirm with the Propam Polda Sultra.
After the news was published, the police then contacted the two journalists. The two journalists were forced to provide statements to two profession and security investigators, regarding the sources they had interviewed regarding the alleged sexual harassment news.
Furthermore, on Friday, February 21, 2025, two journalists received a summons from Propam Polresta Kendari to become witnesses regarding the report.
