Description
Gov. Tan filed Cyber Libel Case against Bonifacio and Cejas after he saw the video documentary published by their respective outfits, saying it's malicious and defamatory. The documentary series, titled The Agony of Samar, discussed the socio-economic and political conditions of the province. He said that the reference to political dynasty in the province highly alluded to his family, though not explicitly stated. Fortunately, the Cyber Libel Case was dismissed on April 19, 2022 after local courts stated that Tan offered no evidence to support his complaint.
