Known as red-tagger Lorraine Badoy, and NTF-ELCAC spokesman Jeffrey Celis red-tagged journalists Frank Cimatu and Baguio Midland Courier editor-in-chief Harley Palangchao in their show ‘Laban Para sa Bayan’ last May 26, 2023.
In the video, the show hosts flashed a group picture taken from an event in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The photo showed members of different organizations posted online on their personal Facebook.
Celis said that most of the people in the photo are ‘regional urban party operators’ of the Communist Party of the Philippines and added that the ‘international NGO event’ they attended was just a front for a ‘syndicate fundraising’ of the CPP-NPA.
