Journalists intimidated to delete reports of Illegal cigarette business.
Description
The two journalists have regularly written and reported on the circulation of various illegal cigarettes in North Halmahera, North Maluku. The business allegedly involved many officers in the National Police and National Army institution.
Because of this report, the two journalists received intimidation from Sigit Adi, Head of Sub-Directorate of Intelkam, Nort Maluku Regional Police.
Sigit call them and asked to delete or take down the report. He also explained that the illegal cigarette business belonged to a 2-star general at the National Army headquarters.
