Journalist for Inside Lombok Yudina Nujumul Qurani experienced violence and intimidation by employees of the developer Meka Asia in West Lombok on Tuesday, February 11, 2024.
Previously, on Monday February 10 2025, the Inside Lombok Instagram account uploaded a report from residents regarding flood conditions in the West Lombok area, with footage of Meka Asia housing.
There was no information stating that the object of the photo in the post was Meka Asia housing. However, Meka Asia felt that the post was detrimental to them, so they asked the Inside Lombok editorial team to delete the post.
However, the Inside Lombok editorial team did not delete the post, and offered the right to reply or clarification to the developer.
The next day, Inside Lombok journalist Yudina, who was two months pregnant came to the Meka Asia developer office to covered residents who were asking for a solution regarding the flooding in their housing.
At that time, all journalists were invited to enter the developer's office, except for Yudina, who was known from Inside Lombok. The journalist then chose to leave the office. But suddenly her hand was pulled by one of Meka Asia employee.
Meka Asia employee, with the initials AG protested about the post of Instagram Inside Lombok to Yudina, and cornered the journalist and questioned her credibility.
Feeling very pressured, Yudina went out from office and cried. The developer still chased the journalist and pulled her body and squeezed her face. As a result of the incident, the victim returned home in a state of severe trauma.
