16 May 2024: Health Minister held a press conference for the National Health and Morbidity Report, with many journalists and reporters attending. However, the Health Minister's aide received several complaints from media practitioners who claimed that Nik Azmi had belittled journalists who enquired about explanations of the statistics provided in the ministry's 2023 National Health and Morbidity Survey, which was revealed yesterday.
The club also said Nik Azmi interrupted and answered a journalist's question on behalf of the minister during the press conference.
