Journalist for JPNN Media, Wisnu Indra Kusuma experienced an attack while conducting an interview with the Governor of Central Java, Nana Sudjana at the Patra Jasa Hotel Semarang, on Thursday, September 26, 2024.
That day, Wisnu attended the opening of the National Working Meeting of the Association of Communication and Informatics Services of All Indonesia Provinces, at the Patra Hotel Semarang, Rama Shinta Ballroom.
The Governor of Central Java Nana Sudjana was present at the event. Shortly before leaving the location, Nana Sudjana agreed to do an interview with several media.
Nana answered the interview while walking down the stairs followed by several media. At that time, several journalists asked about the activities of the Association of Communication and Informatics Services. Then Wisnu asked about the viral video that recorded Nana Sudjana refusing to shake hands with the candidate for governor of Central Java, Andi Perkasa after the drawing of ballot numbers at the Central Java KPU. Nana answered the question.
Wisnu then asked how the Central Java government was committed to overcoming bullying in the Specialist Doctor Education Program that had occurred at Diponegoro University, Semarang. Before the question was finished being answered, suddenly Wisnu's left leg was pulled by the governor's aide causing his body to fall three to four steps.
Wisnu then protested and asked why his leg was pulled. The aide replied that I held it because you almost fell. Wisnu continued to protest. The Governor then came and patted Wisnu's shoulder and shook his hand, while apologizing before getting into the car that was waiting for him at the end of the front stairs of the Ballroom.
The X-ray results from the orthopedic doctor at Siloam Hospital Semarang stated that there was a small crack in the journalist's left femur. The new crack was below the fracture that the victim had experienced.
