Antonieta Kartono Martins, a reporter for the East Timorese news site Diligente Online, was detained while covering a police operation to remove street vendors from a market in Dili, the capital. She was released without charge after being detained for several hours.
Police asked who are you> and she said I am journalist, but they didn't believe her, and they asked her to show her ID CARD, but she said here is public space, but the police continue to yelled her, and brough her to the police station to do identification of her for several hours.
