Description
NUJP-Leyte Chairperson Jazmin Bonifacio received death threats via SMS on January 28 and January 29 from two unknown senders.
“Magdasal kana bilang na araw mo. NPA alert alert(You should count your days. NPA alert alert).” The message read from mobile number +639107167106. The same sender sent another message, which read, “ISANG BALA KA LANG (You’re just one bullet away (from death).”
A series of text messages was also sent by a sender with the number +639463121609, accusing her and her family members as scammers, and threatening to burn their house down.
