Bisnis Indonesia Journalist Experienced Violence During Interview minister AHY

Description

Bisnis Indonesia journalist Alifian Asmaaysi experienced violence while conducting an interview with the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, AHY in the Rancaekek hamlet of Bandung, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.

That day, Minister AHY attended the inauguration of the Rancaekek flats in Cangkuang Village, Rancaekek District, Bandung Regency. Several journalists joined AHY's entourage using the train from Jakarta.

The event was also accompanied by the relocation of 384 people from 98 heads of families, residents from Bandung Regency who were relocated because they had built semi-permanent illegal buildings in Taman Sari, Bandung City.

After the inauguration of the flats, Minister AHY had time to give a statement to journalists. However, after the interview session was over, Asmaaysi, female journalist of Bisnis Indonesia, still tried to chase Minister AHY to ask further questions.
AHY has given an answer. However, at that time, AHY's protocol team tried to block journalists.

At that time, one of the members of AHY's protocol team pushed the journalist's body from the front, then pulled his hand from behind, which caused the journalist's hand to hurt.
