Two journalists were banned and restricted from covering an explosion at the Hospital

Two journalists, Wivy Hikmatullah and Yudi Wibowo, were banned and restricted from covering an explosion at Eka Hospital BSD Serpong, South Tangerang. The incident occurred on September 21, 2023, when the journalists were present at the location to report on the explosion in the hospital's radiology room, which led to a fire. However, when they tried to take pictures of the Jakarta Police's gengana team investigating the source of the explosion, they were chased away by two security guards. The guards not only evicted them but also snatched their cell phones. Yudi argued with the officers, explaining that he was a journalist covering the story and not interfering with the crime scene process. Although their phones were eventually returned, both journalists felt intimidated while trying to cover the fire at the hospital.
