Female journalists from several national media outlets experienced verbal harassment while reporting at the Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission (Indonesian: Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi abbreviated as KPK) building, Monday 19 June 2023.

The media was present to cover the interrogation of Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo, who was present as a witness in a case involving accusations of corruption.

The leaked video portrays officers from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) engaging in disrespectful and sexist remarks directed at female journalists who were present during their face-to-face interview with Syahrul.

The officer said "Wow, it's good to be surrounded by girls" (with condescending tone)

The journalists promptly reacted to the statement, which considered verbal sexual harassment.
