Journalists are prohibited from covering the Hearing Meeting (RDP) between Commission I of the Bintan Regional Representative Council and PT Japfa on Monday, July 8 2024.
Bintan regional representative staff and police units prohibited journalists from covering the activity.
There were 6 journalists who were prohibited from covering these public activities. Namely Yuli (deltakepri.co.id), M Sumartono (Go Tv News), Ardiansyah (journalist forreview.co), Selamet (journalist for Batam Pos), Misbah (journalist for V News) and Yanto (journalist for iNews).
That day the journalist will go to the 2nd floor to cover the hearing. The staff of the Bintan Regency regional representative council then asked the journalists' purpose for being there.
When the journalist answered that he would cover the hearing, the officers forbade him and called the civil service police unit to throw the journalist out of the building.
